AN ORIGINAL SELAH37 PRAYER
Jesus, I come with less strength than I wish I had. Help me put down the need to appear endlessly capable. Show me what can wait, what can be shared, and where I need rest. Give me companions who carry burdens with me. Teach me a sustainable way to love and serve. Amen.

Biblical foundation
Jesus’ invitation is for the burdened. Biblical care includes receiving help, not only giving it.
“Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Let one nonessential task wait and ask someone to share a necessary one.
Study the context
Isaiah 40 speaks hope to a discouraged people. Renewed strength is not a demand to ignore physical limits or symptoms of illness.
