AN ORIGINAL SELAH37 PRAYER
God of compassion, I miss what death and loss have taken. I do not have tidy words today. Meet me in the tears and in the quiet after them. Give me people who can sit beside me without rushing my sorrow. Help me receive food, rest, and kindness, one day at a time. Amen.

Let someone know what would help today: company, a meal, quiet, or a listening ear.
Study the context
John 11 includes both resurrection hope and tears; neither cancels the other. Romans 12:15 addresses how a community accompanies grief.
