# SELAH37 sources and asset licenses

Reviewed September 21, 2026. Every deployed public file is listed in ASSETS.csv with its path, origin, license/status, and SHA-256 hash. Temporary audit utilities are excluded and removed before publication.

## Original assets
- images/selah37-brand.jpg: supplied SELAH37 profile branding from the user’s existing project. Used only for this brand. Ownership representation comes from the user; no trademark registration claim is made.
- images/selah37-brand.webp: lossless format conversion of that supplied brand asset.
- images/selah37-brand-transparent.png: transparent-background extraction of the supplied SELAH37 wordmark and open-book mark for site header and footer use.
- images/hero.webp and images/study.webp: original generated artwork created for SELAH37 on September 20, 2026. Illustrative, not documentary. No identifiable person, celebrity, stock provider, or third-party mark. Not asserted to be CC0 or exclusively copyrightable.
- og.png: original generated SELAH37 social preview art approved September 21, 2026, using the supplied SELAH37 brand mark and original navy-and-gold artwork.
- favicon.svg: original code-native SELAH37 open-book-and-37 brand mark on the SELAH37 navy field.
- icon-192.png, icon-512.png, apple-touch-icon.png: app icons derived from the user-supplied SELAH37 wordmark and open-book logo.
- components/selah/icons.tsx: original functional SVG geometry authored for this site (arrows, controls, book, leaf). No third-party icon assets loaded in the active interface.

- Original variable TTF sources retained for reproducible subsetting. Browser assets are Latin-subset WOFF2 derivatives under the same license.
- DejaVu Sans and Serif embedded in PDFs: Bitstream Vera permission and DejaVu public-domain additions. Full redistributed license: licenses/pdf-fonts.txt. Original source: https://dejavu-fonts.github.io/ . Website typography uses only Fraunces and Inter.

## Study texts and downloads
- All 83 PDF downloads are original SELAH37 compilations from data/books.json and data/bonus-books.json, generated by scripts/generate-study-pdfs.py. The complete main guide, complete bonus guide, 66 main-book PDFs, and 15 bonus PDFs are listed separately in the inventory.
- Original commentary, synopsis, and devotional prose is newly authored for SELAH37, not copied from commercial commentary. Sharing permission: PDFs may be shared unchanged with SELAH37 attribution. The original brand and artwork are not granted for unrelated uses.
- KJV Scripture: public domain in the US; UK Crown rights apply. Source https://ebible.org/eng-kjv2006/ . Quotes identify their version; excerpts are marked. No NIV/ESV or other modern copyrighted Bible quotations were intentionally included.
- The modern English Bible resource links to public-domain text at https://ebible.org/eng-web/ . Translation names identify editions, not commercial partnerships.
- Historical commentary at https://ccel.org/ccel/henry/mhc1.html is public-domain source text; no hosted interface or modern annotation is copied.
- Bonus reference texts by R. H. Charles: https://sacred-texts.com/bib/boe/index.htm and https://sacred-texts.com/bib/jub/index.htm . Historical source texts; no hosted assets copied.
- Canon references are bibliographic links only: https://www.ethiopianorthodox.org/english/canonical/books.html and https://www.islamic-awareness.org/bible/text/canon/ethiopican . No article reproduced.

## Removed during audit
Third-party partner logo, logo-pending slots, commercial provider recommendations, uncertain map/timeline reuse suggestions, inactive signup promise, and unavailable-video promises were removed. No third-party video file or embed is published.

## Software and testing
The application uses free open-source packages with their distributed licenses, retained in the lockfile and installed package notices. Existing hosting is preserved; no purchase, paid plan, paid API, paid signup, or new subscription was added. This does not guarantee future hosting is free. The temporary free axe-core audit tool (MPL-2.0) is not shipped. Policies are original general templates informed by official government guidance, not paid generators.


## Phase 2 additions — September 20, 2026

- `data/prayers.json`, `data/emotions.json`, `data/growth-paths.json`, and six appended guides: original SELAH37 editorial content, not copied commentary. Prayer quotations are separately labeled WEB. Independent pastoral/scholarly review remains recommended.
- `public/scripture/web/*.json`: public-domain World English Bible verse text only, extracted from the mirror and revision recorded in `public/scripture/SOURCE.json`. Publisher notice: https://ebible.org/eng-web/copyright.htm. Mirror code and layout metadata were not reused.
- `public/study/*`, `public/selah-sw*.js`, and the emotion wheel: original SELAH37 interface/offline code. Offline prayer data is generated from the shared prayer source.
- `vendor/supertonic/helper.js`: MIT, © 2025 Supertone Inc.; exact source and revision in `vendor/supertonic/SOURCE.json`. License: `/licenses/supertonic-code-MIT.txt`. No functional modifications to the upstream helper.
- Optional remote model: Supertonic 3, female F1 preset, revision `aafc6e32416a594460b32413efc49d7fe4ce6d46`, BigScience Open RAIL-M with use restrictions, copied in `/licenses/supertonic-model-OpenRAIL-M.txt`. Source: https://huggingface.co/supertone-oss-archive/supertonic-3. AI-generated output is labeled; no voice cloning. Upstream archived September 9, 2026.
- `public/voice/runtime/*`: onnxruntime-web 1.22.0, MIT (Microsoft) and distributed third-party notices. Copies in `/licenses/onnxruntime-MIT.txt` and `/licenses/onnxruntime-ThirdPartyNotices.txt`. `public/voice/selah-voice.js` bundles the original SELAH37 worker, MIT Supertonic helper, and ONNX runtime; linked legal notices retained.
- Kokoro/phonemizer was evaluated but removed before release because of a documented dependency licensing conflict. It is not a runtime dependency or shipped voice asset.
- No new third-party logos, stock images, paid APIs, analytics, or remotely hosted videos were added. On September 21, 2026, the approved OG image, branded application icons, and all 83 PDF study guides were refreshed without changing their underlying study content.
